Welcome to www.Icalis.co.uk the website for Icalis Data Systems Ltd.
The IDIS EE Tablet Dissolution Data Management Software, for tablet and capsule dissolution testing, has been developed as an open system to cope with the diverse range of analytical techniques required for USP methods I , II, III and IV for Dissolution testing.
This software package allows connections to virtually all dissolution Baths, Spectrophotometers, Pumps, Valves and popular Autosamplers to provide an open system for Control, Data Acquisition, Calculations and Reporting. The software provides extended security and management features to comply with 21 CFR Part 11.
Versatile User methodology is achieved using Solution Path Technology© which allow users to configure virtual dissolution tests using instrument connectivity that mimic real life physical connections. Systems for Closed Loop, Open Loop Valve, Fraction Collection and Autosampler processing of samples including dilution and pH and Media change can be readily configured.
The IDIS EE dissolution testing platform features a relational database allowing group application testing and centralised administered access rights security. Other database functionality allows method and data records to be found using powerful SQL querying and Centralised Network Solutions.
The IDIS EE software provides a generic interface to most dissolution hardware, which allows instruments form different manufacturers to be integrated into automated dissolution systems.
The Driver Management provides a central system for Driver development and management using packet mode communication to access multiple instruments simultaneously. This unique system configuration provides drivers with a common user interface and functionality for different instruments, using RS232, GPIB IEEE, I/O and Software protocol.
The RS8 Remote Serial Controller meets the requirements for extended communication ports which allow multiple users to be logged on and perform different tests simultaneously.
Using Solution Path Technology©, users can configure methods for different USP apparatus and perform multiple tests from the same IDIS workstation using different instruments.
IDIS EE Solution Path Technology© allow users to configure systems for USP 3 Bio-Dis™ apparatus using Open or Closed Loop configuration with online detection or other configurations with Autosamplers where samples are collected and processed in real time.
IDIS EE provides all timings for the experiment including Sampling, Drip and Processing Time in each Media and controls all instruments as defined by Solution Path.
Online systems with UV-Visible spectrophotometers uses the IDIS EE multiple media section structure to provide for different standards, wavelength measurement and individual calculations for each Media.
Using Samples previously collected or collecting Samples in real time using Deferred Data Collection, Solution Path Technology © methodology allows systems to be configured to process Samples for Dilution, Mixing, Injection and Measurement.
Virtual Rectangular racks with independent and equidistant X and Y positions can be configured and Wash, Air gaps, Sampling Volume and Sampling rates and other parameters can be configured for each method. Dilution with Sample Mixing or Air Mixing and multiple mixing sessions can be programmed with any dilution ratio
Fractions can either be collected in Test Tubes or sampled into Septum Vials using Inline Dilution, Inline Sampling and Rack dilution configurations.
For processing options without Baths, different analysis (and different products) can be configured in a Batch process which can be analysed "out of normal working hours" (overnight and weekend) for increased productivity.
The IDIS EE software uses the Client Server model to integrate data from multiple IDIS Data stations into a relational Networked Database with central file locking capability.
IDIS EE Networked Database allows data and method records to be shared remotely from different laboratories for analysis and reporting using multiple field names with extended SQL querying.Records can be remotely signed, reports produced and the System administered without accessing the working laboratory. An Administration configured Export facility allows specific Data and Method details to be formatted and saved after each analysis.
ASP 2000 Autosampler: The ASP2000 Autosampler can be used for most sample processing applications for accurate positioning and fast sample throughput. The Dual probe version is equipped with one Arm and two Probes to allow for multiple sampling and processing in Tablet Dissolution testing applications.
MSV-300-8 Media Switcher: The MSV300-8 Media Switcher is a microprocessor controlled 8/ 16 Port Valve unit, which can be used to switch different Media in banks of 1 block of 8 Valves or 2 blocks of 8 Valves.
The MSV300-6 is a Media Selector valve, connects any one of 6 Media Inputs to a common output which can be distributed into 8 common output ports.
VS601 Sample Selector: The VS601 Sample Selector allows one of 10 solution Inputs to be switched to a common output port with 1/16th ID port size.
VS602 Sample Selector: The VS602 Sample Selector is a Dual 10 to 1 Common Valve unit and allows one of 10 solution Inputs to be switched to a common output port with 1/16th ID port size from each valve.
PCP490 Peristaltic Pump: The PCP490 peristaltic pump is a general purpose high performance non-contact fluid pump, which can be fitted with several types of pump head.
The RS8 Remote Serial Controller integrates 8 PC AT compatible Serial Ports with 4 SPCO Relays, 1 8 bit Input Buffer port and 1 8 Bit Output Port into a single unit
The MES8 is a High Impedance electrode selector which enables eight electrodes to be switched to a single output Meter for pH or Conductivity measurement.
Micro Flow Cell - The Micro-Flow Cell is used in the laboratory for samples with small volumes.
ATR Probe - The ATR Probe makes reliable measurement of highly absorbing solutions possible
Backscatter Probe - The Backscatter Probe makes measurement as simple as placing the probe in contact with the substance whose spectrum is to be recorded.
DIP Probe - The slender Dip Probe is ideal for in-situ measurements in the analytical laboratory.
Filter Probe - Filter Probe is ideal for use in solutions containing particulates that cause unwanted light scattering with conventional probe designs.
Retro-Reflection Probe The rugged Retro-Reflection Probe is the right choice for demanding process applications.
Transmission Cell - Transmission Cell makes it a good choice for cramped process locations. (Extension tubes not shown.)
